This trip video was done really well. I didn't realize it was just the four of you. Exploring with friends is the best. I agree this is way laid back compared with the extremes with Jim. I like seeing what you are up to.

Tori, that looked as though it was a fantastic adventure, so glad you posted and shared with us and regardless of the limited footage you delivered the story in such a personal engaging format, it was such a welcomed change from the typical KZbin "movie" Great Job and safe travels in the future.

An amazing trip. As a dad of 3 little girls who we try to encourage to do a fair amount of outdoor pursuits can I just say that across the 3 channels your associated with it helps to show them that they really can do anything. Great positive content for young minds. Pitty there arnt many paddle opportunities in aussieland, but we make do with what we can .

That trip was absolutely stunning and I thought it showed how ladies can plan out these trips. I had to chuckle when you kept saying delicious.😄 I would have bought the map book as well. I think you, jim and the boys should do the Moab though I think Jim would be looking for a way to get to the Colorado rapids. It’s funny you played euchre. Where I live, (about 20 miles outside of Rochester, New York) The film company Kodak was founded here. Every person who worked at Kodak played euchre and swore the game was invented there. 😆 now I can play a mean hand of euchre but do I think it was invented here, no. You are a very cool woman and it’s great to see these videos. Thank you. 😢

What an awesome experience. Enjoyed the voiceover. Very informative. I bet it was hot and so dry. Lived in Colorado for a few years. Low humidity, very dry and when the sun beats down on you at over 5500 ft you feel it. Compared to most of your other trips, this one seemed to be more relaxed.

What a terrific and rejuvenating experience for you. Just leaving home and being released from all your day to day responsibilities is such a gift. I recall that feeling when I used to go on backpacking trips with my friend for a few days when life was full of work and family . Such a lift. A beautiful area. Bob and I were there in our van just before covid. Stunning scenery. I would love to do what you did. Hope you get to do that family trip.

So glad you got to experience this part of the canyon country. I did this trip 5 times over the years when my kids were younger, and we always had a blast. I highly recommend it for families. Do avoid the summer, as the bugs and the heat can be really bad. If you camp on sand bars and have some wind blowing that will help discourage the bugs, but best to do a Spring or Fall trip. Tex’s does a great job with the outfitting and the river map is full of valuable information. Btw, you can easily drive from Salt Lake City to Moab in about 4 hours or so, and that might be more efficient than flying to Moab, although you have the cost of a rental car. Glad you have your own channel and great job on the narration.

Awesome you got down to Utah, so much to explore in that state. I totally agree with the others....sometimes a relaxing trip w/o drama and portages plus great company can be fun. A Baird Fam Trip would be great to watch in the future. AND, no guardians of the north to attack you :).

Ozark National Scenic Riverways in Missouri is an even more family friendly canoe camping trip. The fishing in the Jack's Fork is excellent, the water temperature is pleasant and the scenery is incredible. Plus, there are some good caves to explore and springs to hike to. Gravel bar camping provides dozens of easy campsites. Wood fires are allowed, too. We take a "pooper" in the form of a five gallon bucket with a Magellan toilet seat. We use a compactor bag for each day with an extra large adult diaper in it. Then we ziptie the top in the morning and start over with another bag right on top of it. The outfitters have dumpsters you can throw it away in like baby diapers at the end of the trip. It would be impossible to dig catholes in the gravel bars. The National Park has campgrounds with showers for before and after a trip.

Hi, glad to see you came down to our rivers in the USA 🎉 I rafted the Colorado river and went through Cataract canyon a few years ago floated 100 miles the cataract is rated top 10 biggest rapids in the country so not for kids at all but the green is a breeze great idea for the family . Believe me that part of the country is going to bring you back many times the Grand Canyon and lake Powell / Canyon lands it’s a life time of exploring . Just a few miles where you were picked up at the confluence of the Green & Colorado starts Cataract Canyon you need to do that next 😊❤🩷💚🧡💜 you guys
