RE: The injury, i don't understand why he didn't get the surgery as soon as physically possible. Now saying he needs to go to the PI in America. The UK (or Germany, Switzerland etc.) do have perfectly capable doctors that would be able to do just as good a job with rehab.

My thoughts exactly. It had to be a purposeful decision to delay the surgery so he didn’t have to fight on the London cards and have the harsh realisation of how much he is disliked in the UK when his “home” fans booed him more than his opponent 🤣

The next Bisping, the next Leon, all that insane hype. Now he's bagged 10k views in 2 days. I have never in my life seen such a tremendous fall-off in interest and support for a celebrity of any type, save for full blown cancellation. His mentality seems totally shot too, same old Paddy when he's talking about everything but his return to combat, soon as that's brought up he just seems deflated. I imagine his last fight and the subsequent fallout has hit hard and some part of him realises his dream of being a UFC champion is exactly that, a dream.
