Liverpool like a lot of other cities in the UK is a bloody hard place to stay out of trouble and do well for yourself, plenty of wronguns who want to drag you down to their level and its far too easy to get caught up with them. Plenty of young footballers who could have made it big couldn't get away from the gangs, drugs and fights and lost out on a good career.

If he admitted to knowingly taking the fake notes then he is playing with fire. A nonce gets a suspended sentence in this country but anyone who does anything financial like fraud gets prison time. It's a backward system but I agree that he should never have got any prison time. I visit a brother regularly in prison and it's not for someone like this lad.
