Good podcast from McAteer, funny listening to him saying/exaggerate they "lost the league" though...they were 11, 7, 12 and 25 points off Utd in his 4 seasons there. They were the United of the 80s

Lynchy is mistaken about Wenger / Clough - Clough retired before Wenger came to English football.

Heartbreaking story from a great player who had a really tough time. Down to earth and come across as a top man. Good luck Malcolm, you deserve it.

There's no way a manager like Clough would get on today. Which is a total shame.

Massively undervalued, it’s criminal how underrated Kevin Philips was in this country, I’ve said it before and I’ll carry on saying it favouritism will always be Englands downfall

Gutted when he left for Birmingham, but perhaps needed a new challenge. Always gave his all for the reds n miss that coming through the ranks and playing 300 plus nowadays, a genuine Barnsley lad too 100 per center ⚽⚽⚽

As a Newcastle fan, I actually liked Pardew, he did a good job, the issue was Mike Ashley, he sold all the best players and invested very little back into the squad, is was Mike that ultimately made Pardew jump ship because the team had been stripped bare at that stage.

Used to absolutely love this guy on soccer Saturday and was gutted when he left. Wasn't sure on this first because of some of his views but fair play backed up his points and why he believed them very well and seems an honest down to earth bloke aside from being a top player.

You guys make me sick laughing at Barton’s excesses. He was a thug with some talent on the field, a criminal off the field and now grifts a living as a pseudo intellectual.

He's a typical story telling bloke who you meet in your holidays and bores the tits off of you all and you spend most of your time trying to avoid You end up looking forward to sitting in the airport to go home A very delusional man on his beliefs of his popularity and the context on how people talk to him David Brent comes to mind

just lately iv realised every club whos had bad owners seem to go down .. so sheffield wednesday leeds United blackburn rovers Birmingham city coventry city portsmouth im sure theres more .also with these bad owners it causes mentak health issues for the players which isnt good at all makes fans hate football like myself i dont like the way things are ran in football so iv given up on going to Hillsborough for a while and i watch my local none league side worksop town who surprisingly are decent 🦉🐯
