One of, if not the best, Top Gear features ever. Filmed with compassion and respect. Had me balling my eyes out at points. Great to see Eddie Kidd in such good form. As others have said, great to see a tribute before we've lost them. Nice one Paddy!!

With most tributes they come too late for the person receiving it, as they are normally given when the person has passed away. It was nice to see Eddie Kidd get the tribute he deserved, and was alive to see it, and what he meant to so many people. Credit to top gear and paddy McGuiness,a really nice touch.👍

Quite simply a phenomenal and moving tribute to Eddie Kidd. Robbie Knievel doffing his cap to Eddie was a moment. It's clear that Eddie has issues regarding his speech and some fine motor control. However, he was engaging with Paddy, "Look on the back" and when Paddy said 'drove' and Eddie's face changed... and Glen said, 'rode'... and Paddy wanted the ground to open up and swallow him. Eddie was just electric! After Paddy's jump, "Where's the fire?" There's mischief in Eddie! The surprise with both the biker ride past and then his friends and loved ones and the smiles on his face were genuine throughout, his eyes were sparkling with delight. Thank you to Paddy, Thank you to Top Gear, Thank you to the BBC and Thank You to Eddie Kidd and his Family for their permission and participation. This is what TV awards are for - special tributes like this. BAFTA, please take note on this wonderful featurette.

...Eddie Kidd , AND Barry Sheene got me ...and many others into biking in the 1970's and 80's . His crash was explained in his book , landing on an uphill slope meant he hit his head on the petrol tank and was knocked unconscious - but a catch net and straw bales would've stopped him from falling down that 30 foot drop .
