I'm a Finn and I understood it almost perfectly without the subtitles:D Altought I lived in the UK while I was 6-7 yo, but when I speak English these days I have straight up American accent:D I speak English almost better than Finnish too or atleast as good as Finnish, as I have to borrow everyday words from English, as sometimes I can't remember Finnish words, but I remember the English word and I understand the meaning fully, but it just takes some time to think about some words in Finnish that I instantly get in my head, as English😅 Of course that when I was 6 yo I learned to speak English probably pretty good that I could hold a conversation in English pretty well, but what gave me a really good foundation for English is that I learned to read & write English & Finnish at the same time, while I lived in England. Of course also that Finland has one of the best schooling systems in the world helped😄

He's from Liverpool, which is in North of England and he has a very stereotypical Liverpool (scouse) accent. I'm from Leeds in Yorkshire, also up north and alot of people from different parts of world struggle to understand me, because I have a strong Yorkshire accent. People from abroad don't tend to understand Northerners too well. I've known North and South Americans pretend that they understand me, but they don't and will interrupt me and say it in a polite way. The more north foreigners go, its often harder to understand us.
