It’s actually crazy that Paddy is standing there shredded and saying how he has to “start” his weight cut. 😂
@EdwardGordington3 ай бұрын
that's because in the world of early deaths and brain damage also known as fighting they do a cut before hand and then the day before the fight they suck every drop of water out of their body to make sure they are as close to weight as possible while actually being over that weight because you cant put muscle back on in a day but you sure as shit can rehydrate, not that its even remotely good for you but hey that's fighting.
@jutosgrind3 ай бұрын
Yeah he already cut weight, but the water cut is what is the hardest part and makes a big difference
@clockco13623 ай бұрын
paddy is a beast!
@wasntme36513 ай бұрын
It’s called water loading. You drink a bunch of water every day leading to the Final Cut so your body keeps pushing it out because it is coming in in abundance and then you stop drinking water and your body is tricked into a cycle of pissing a lot and it depletes your water reserves. That’s why the time frame to start is crucial because in a short time the body goes into preservation mode and wants to hold the water because it’s not coming in abundance anymore. Timing is super crucial for water loading. It’s a big part of bodybuilding before a show also.

All you gotta do is cut out a few of the really bad luxuries. You can cheat meal once every few weeks and all you need to do is be a little disciplined. Cut out the extra donuts or chicken wings. At least try, that's the way to go. You can still eat nachos, pizza and stuff once in a while. Chicken wings, potato chips, ice cream, donuts are the worst of the worst. Some kinds of junk food have some nutrition, like nachos that can have vegetables/corn where potato chips are just straight garbage. There's no point eating them. You don't have to torture yourself to get a little healthier, just cut out the worst of the worst.

He's done everything the right way so far and has a tremendous support group around him. If he continues on this path he can be a much bigger advocate for mental health awareness by becoming a UFC Champion and using that platform like he already has been to reach a whole new level of awareness that is much needed around the world, especially in countries who are seemingly refusing to acknowledge how large an issue it is.

That finish early this morning was beautiful. Credit where credit is due that was just a beautiful move; reminded me of the Might Mouse flying armbar from all those years ago - was just so smooth and trained to the point it was just so natural but that is serious hard work to do that. Talent is there, into the rankings. GG and approaching 1million subs on YT. That is going under the radar of how impressive that is too.
