I''ve had a female friend of mine that's been struggling with bipolar for several years and I can honestly say that engaging in the mental health system and keeping her friend network in the loop has kept her breathing on more than one occasion over this time. We have a roster system we kick in when things get really bad to make she she's supervised but it relies on her letting us know when she's on the edge. I've told her myself many times I'd rather I get called out to her place than to lose her. Talking, reaching out, finding ways to get through those key critical moments can't be overstated

Don't know you personally, obviously. I am proud of you none the less! I know how hard it can be. I spent years there myself. So glad you reached out. It can be better friend. I'm so glad your still here. Love from Arizona.

Thank you Paddy for what you said post-fight. Nice to see a grounded individual who uses their platform as you did.

Had an old friend randomly contact me to catch up last year. He never gave the impression anything was wrong, told me how great everything was going with new career opportunities.. woke up the next day to a phone call from his mom... that was one of the hardest funerals I've ever attended. He hid his emotions so well and never once mentioned his mental health struggles. Knowing he reached out to me but didn't feel comfortable enough to talk about his struggles with me really messed me up. First thing I did was sat down with my close friends and talked about everything I was feeling. Talking about your problems needs to be looked at as a strength rather than weakness. 1000% agree

That is really hard. I am sorry. It wasn't your fault.

You are so brave to share the struggle of so many men, it's so hard to find understanding about this stigma that man can't feel weak.

@Paddy The Baddy my name is Degan, i'm a 16 year old kid from the U.S., as I watched this video it really hit me about your movement. Recently I have lost two friends to suicide and had thoughts my self, therapist don't really do much other than offering medications but just watching you say those things in that post fight speech was quite moving and I thank you, can't wait to watch the next fight Paddy.
