Why is it so difficult to show matching video about what you are explaining. You just show random video most of the time, that's very annoying and hard to follow.

Lool yes - i literally stopped playing tennis after trying padel. The amount of strategy, patience and tactic needed in the game is unbelievable

I'm travelling in Southern Spain all winter (Nerja-Malaga now), back home I play tennis 3-4 times a week but here I tried Padel for the first time and love it! I will only play Padel all winter now! I wonder how I'll be at tennis when I get back.. My volleys and smash will have improved! It's a fun game and less hard on the body when you play relaxed (as you should). I found I'm good at it straight away! My coach said Padel is easier than tennis and overall I think it is. I feel more connected to the ball using a padel than a tennis racket. And my single handed backhand works better. And the serve has been more or less taken out of the game compared to tennis and that's good for me!

Does the ball have to bounce before hitting the back wall? (2) If I smash /spike the ball and it hits the back wall and comes back over the net to my side without any opponent touching the ball, is that a point.
@gameofpadel6 ай бұрын
To answer your first q: no ball doesnt have to bounce to hit it back, it can be hit in the air before bouncing, can be hit after bouncing with no walls or can be hit after bouncing and after hitting the walls - hope that makes sense Regarding your second q: Yes it is a point for you, and thats the best point as its a guaranteed point for you, but obviously not easy to do!

@@gameofpadel Thanks for the reply. I didn't phrase my first question properly. My question is : does the ball have to bounce before hitting the back or side wall. Other words - Can i hit the ball over the net and have it hit the back / side wall without touching the floor. Thanks for the help

@@RobtJude got it. That is not allowed, you would lose the point if thats the case

Hello, good tutorial, but in my opinion it has an issue, single padel is played in a different court with different measures. And the game is actually similar but very different in tactics and in the way you play it. So I almost would say is a different sport and in some way is confusing to mix it when when you are explaining what is padel. Padel actually is played by two teams of 2 players. Greetings from Argentina
@gameofpadel Жыл бұрын
Hi Jorge, you’re def right - we will need to look into doing another video to explain the difference, its just very hard to create content with padel, so we will try our best thanks!

It's really just a dumb-down version of tennis (with many rules and scoring borrowed from tennis). For those who take a fun game too seriously, I'd say, do pickleball instead. We're just in for a bit of fun activities. Are people really prepping padel to be admitted to the Olympics or something?!?
@gameofpadel Жыл бұрын
Trust me padel very different than tennis - it requires much more tactic and strategy and positioning its crazy - pickle ball doesn’t even come close to padel - padel is one of the fastest growing sports worldwide. Itll only get bigger and better trust me, and yea itll def be included in the olympics soon

i’ve played squash on and off for 20 years. have played tennis here and there as well but haven’t played in many years. quite curious about this game. pickleball seems a bit odd and boring but i don’t know.

You’ll pick up this sport in the less than 2-3 weeks if you have prior racket sport experience - youre gonna love it, thats a promise 🙌🏼 I havent seen a game thats so tactical yet requires strategy + positioning in a racket sport
