Pakistan has been home to some remarkable Classical dancers, such as Bina Javed, Indu Metha, Nahik Siddiqui, Nighat Chaudhary, and others. Regrettably, despite their incredible talent, they pursued their artistic passions in an environment that faced challenges in nurturing their artistry to its fullest potential. Sheema Kermani was in Pasoori song too and i think Indu ji was a bharatanatyam dancer.

At 4mins and 20 seconds you start a very beautiful padhant and i was wondering if you could maybe reply with the bols of that padhant ? I want to try to learn it to play on the tabla. Its very beautiful and it will be a nice challenge to put together. Thank you so much for offering kathak lessons online. Its so nice to see an artist feel it is necessary to spread this art on.

Tukda is a small piece, a small rhythm pattern consisting of bols that are weaved on a talam ..ending on a sum.
