Archeological and historical evidences have conclusively proven that Jauhar was indeed performed by women in 1303 CE when Alauddin attacked Chittor( Capital of MEWAR). It has also been proven conclusively that 16000 Rajput women did jump into the Veil of Fire and saved their honor. Although the historical existence of Rani Padmavati( who was a princess of SriLanka and Queen of Mewar) has not been conclusively proven, circumstantial evidence does point to her existence. And Yes, I rightfully believe that the sole reason for Alauddins attack on Chirttor was acquiring Rani Padmavati and dishonored women of Mewar. I am proud to belong to the country that has bred the RAJPUTS, who defended our civilization against Islamic Invaders for centuries

You do realize that Malik Gafur of this fight scene went on to raid south india and destroyed madurai temple, right? So FYI south also faced Islamic incursions it's just that Northerners didnt gave up and converted so they had to constantly try to fight with us in different provinces of north and so it gave breathing space for southerners to unify and create glorious Vijaynagar empire but again hindu accepted religion of peace in to their society and you know how it went for Vijaynagar empire after that blunder.

Not just the honourable jauhar, in Rajput kingdoms and many other Indian kingdoms, the queen would stand and raise her voice if she wasn't in favour of a policy/decision. They would it in front of everyone in the royal court. Present day ppl say "future holds big hopes for women" when in reality, traditional Indian culture had always been pro women while not taking away honour from men either. Modern day notions of feminism can take some inspiration

Apart from this Khilji destroyed a lot of universities including the oldest university in the world Nalanda University which ran for 700 years in India which also harbored 1000s of Buddhists teachers and 10k students from other countries too ex: China, Korea etc. he found out that this university had 9 million manuscripts on Medical(Ayurvedic) Astronomy, math, astrology and he got mad that because a huge university existed in India and none in his country Afghanistan. So he destroyed and burned the entire university and killed 1000s of Buddhist (Hindus) monks/teachers, slaughtered thousands of students. He brought nothing but destruction to India unfortunately

few pointers 1) it was not only rape but being turned into a sex slave, probably search fr the heinous acts of invasion of these barbaric is-la-mis. search for other weird practices like taharrush 2) this was an actual act that happened 3) the Chittor jauhar was done to re-ignite the flame in the hearts of other Indian tribes. One thing you can be sure of, is that we Hindus would rather die than loosing our pride and honour... we keep it above anything you can ever think of.. even above the gods, to whom we pray for our well-being...if you read Hindu scriptures especially Mahabharata, you will find many people who even after knowing they are on the wrong sidex fought against the supreme lord just to save thier pride and honour... because thats what we learn since the day we are born... Lets create a hypothetical situation.. lets say a nation attacks on us.. and unfortunately we are on the verge of loosing(btw India has the 4 the strongest army in the world, and is on the way of becoming the 3rd), every Indian especially Hindus, will fight against the opposing coutry, rather than accepting defeat... let it be children or old people.. we would rather take 1000 bullets in our body, than loosing our pride for 1 day

[ the shoe example ] .... in old times cast were just like People who study Vedas are called ''Brahmins'' and people who fought war were called ''Kshatriyas'' and people who were business man were called '' Vaishyas '' and so on.. and and a son of Brahmin can become kshatriya if he wants . they were totally allowed to do that. And also there are so many brahmin's king who became kshatriya.. you can google it. But MOST people at that time don't choose different occupations because for example if your father is famous painter .. the he will teach you that skill so that you can also become expert in that skill in his guidance and take the family's culture forward. CAST IS BASICALLY TO REFER PEOPLS OCCUPATION / JOB .
