Sorry now but not sure anyone in Pearses were surprised. They are a brilliant team and have several senior Club championships and a Connaught title in the last few years.

Corofin well well beaten for the second year in a row by the Roscommon champs. The standard of club football is greatly overhyped and a reality check is needed. A few weeks ago Corofin were looking at an all ireland according to you boys now they're in "transition". Says a lot nobody can get near them in Galway, no forwards. Not one genuine inside forward coming through in Galway, bringing on Johnny Heaney when Rob Finnerty got injured in the AIF says it all. Doesn't say much for the inside forwards on the bench...
