Fantastic Ed!!! That was absoloootly epic and next level! Seriously that brought back so many memories for me I was spellbound. Your camera work is constantly evolving and improving - the lion and elephant scenes were wonderful. The Kruger will always have a special place in my heart for many reasons but no.1 on the list is because it was the place where I had my 1 and only sighting of a leopard which I can still see so vividly in my minds eye that every time I remember it my heart skips a beat and my breath catches. Magical. Keep up the good work Ed, so very much appreciated and you are right - SA is the most beautiful country in the world.

top class Ed - s56 Mphongolo loop my favorite road in Kruger - usually only pools of water, have never seen it like that. Shipandani hide, magic, next time book a night in the hide before heading to Tzedze (You wont regret it) , I love checking the Nahawu waterholes, east of Tzedze, early in the morning , always a chance of seeing cheetah in that area - Those 2 Males seem to have secured the area between Mopani and Tzedze - 99% sure I seen those 2 boys on my last trip - REGAL !

Man, you are so lucky to live in a country gifted with so much nature and biodiversity. Granted, South Africa has its share of socio-economic problems but just the nature and biodiversity alone is worth it to forget all the shit that is going on around you. Southern Africa ( SA, Botswana and Namibia and to an extent, Zimbabwe and Zambia) is probably my favorite place in the world. I love wildlife and Southern Africa is fantastic.

Inspired me to go shopping around for an external mic for my kit. BTW the Ormsdirect links under your videos don't work anymore. You need to do a video about your equipment and techniques please. Looking forward to the next one...

Thanks Dieter! Not sure why those links always stop working, I only put that stuff there so people have an idea of what I use but I’m definitely going to do a video on my equipment soon!

Great video yet again, thanks. I do however have a question. When you guys open and close the gates, how do you know there is nothing 8n the bushes waiting for you to get out your vehicle?
@EdwardBath
@EdwardBath 3 жыл бұрын
Thanks Stephen! Haha you never know but no one has been attacked opening and closing the gates yet so I guess it’s a risk we all take, we always park the vehicle super close to gate as well! 🙌

Loved this video. We go to Kruger every year but will soon start camping through Kruger as we finally bought our camping trailer. We have decided on Tsendze being our first camp. Question if you don’t mind, are they ok with you topping up your camper’s water tanks while you there.
@EdwardBath
@EdwardBath 2 жыл бұрын
Thank you Jill! I have never had a problem topping up, I normally ask their permission and they are more than happy for me to top up!

Hi Edward, awesome videos, thank you. I see you enjoy a good cup of coffee. Is that an Aero Press you are using, if so, how well does it work?

Thank you so much Margaret! Yes it is an aeropress and it’s brilliant! I’ve been using it for years and it’s great for home and out in the bush

Hi, what vehicles did you have in the convoy? I see footage from a Mercedes bonnet, but never see the vehicle?

Hi Ed, by relocating the spare wheel, did you increase that fuel tank capacity?
@EdwardBath
@EdwardBath 3 жыл бұрын
Hi mate, I haven’t increased the fuel tank because the auxiliary fuel tanks for the 200 are just seriously overpriced so maybe one day!

Ed, a question if we may.... where did you guys book Makuya on a previous trip? We have tried through Limpopo tourism with no success. Planning a trip for Feb next year. Any advice would be appreciated... thankyou!

@@EdwardBath Wow - you lucky fish! I live by the sea, but I would change that easily for the Kruger - no hesitation (only been there 5 times before).
