Thanks a lot! =) Well, I am from Switzerland, my name (von Ziegler) is an old Swiss name, the linguistic roots are of course Germanic. But Switzerland has been a melting pot of Celtic, Germanic tribes and Romans for a long time so I guess I have a bit of all their blood in me.^^

In Norse mythology, Gleipnir is the unbreakable ligature with which the Æsir managed to finally chain the wolf Fenrir. It was made by the dwarves at their request. Gleipnir was a light, silky and thin ribbon that no one could break, however. It was made with six ingredients: - the sound of a cat's footsteps - a woman's beard - the roots of a mountain - a bear's tendons (believed to be referring to nerves or tenderness) - the blow of some fish - the spit of a bird.

For a song about a magical rope made from the spittle of birds, the sound of a cat's footfalls, the roots of mountains, the beards of women, and the voice of fish it's pretty badass. But then you remember it's a rope for holding a bigass magic wolf so it sorta levels out.

@markushne Thanks! Pagan Metal is defined through the Topic of the Song since Celtic/Folk/Pagan all use very similar Instruments and Melodies. Gleipnir is a Pagan Topic from Norse Mythology, therefore the Song is Pagan. ;)

Fenrir Wolf Spirit, Lord of All Wolves, I have a poster of him on my door for protection, i also have Rune tattoes for protection aswell, each one taken from a bag in ritual as a sign from the gods as to which ones i should have tattooed, i also wear my Mjolnir whenever i go out, and one day hope to join the Einherjer when i die so the Valkyries can carry me across the Rainbow bridge to Valhalla until Ragnarok, up there high on Asgard. i am a true Pagan Believer. Once i had a dream where i should pass for a kind of test with a group of wolves, if i passed i would be accepted in a kind of group of masters or something like that, if didn't, i would certainly die. In that dream, it was clearly the simbolism between wolf and sapience.
