For my first go at Crusader Kings I'm creating a bad-ass pagan BOSSGIRL witch who is planning on crushing christianity and the patriarchy. In this video she sets out to conquer all of Ireland. In subsequent videos we watch her children take over the British Empire. GIRLPOWER!

That was a very good playthrough for the first time! I tried to play quite similar scenario few years ago, I also created pagan Morgana in Desmond, but I also gave her every positive perk possible, made her not age (it worked only for her appearance though) and started in 867. Well, I almost immediately got holy war on me, so I had to convert to Catholic but then I just slowly grew in strength until I could just create my own Christian faith called Morganic which was not hostile to pagans and had everything changed for it to be de-facto pagan, while still technically Christian, so Catholics were not that bad against me. I was planning to move over to Paganism and then reform it into something similar but from a Pagan side but I stuck with Morganism in the end. Because of all positive perks Morgana was able to have a glorious rule that lasted for a few months over a century, dying at the age of 118. Her daughter inherited her place as the Empress of Britannia and head of Morganism, and then her daughter after her and so on. I guess I played up to around the year 1100 and half of Europe naturally got someone of my dynasty as the rulers and some of them brought the faith with them.

@@missfunerella Sure that, I love the stories that come out of this! Especially when not everything goes as planned. Once back in CK2 times I started to play as Kingdom of Asturias in 769 in order to do some Reconquista but ended up settling Welshmen in Germany few generations later😆

I love this! I did something similar with my first game of CK3, except I started off as a vassal of another kingdom and also had the witch trait, so I basically got imprisoned and had my titles revoked immediately 😬Glad to see your game is working out better!

Great playthrough! Theres actually a mod which adds more to this exact idea called Sappho's Daughter. It's maybe overly sexual and more fantasy focused with the magic but its got some great flavour otherwise to the witch/magic stuff.

Love the girlbossing! If you want to do something similar in a different area, I’ve always liked the Norse. They have Shieldmaidens, and it’s relatively easy to reform Asatru to be female-dominated.
