Pagani just going to the logo on the dial is a definite improvement! I have a shed full of Pagani models & each new model seems to step it up! Nice review! I like so much the strap swapping section. But finally I received my version 2 of this watch and personally I missed the orange "UGS" text. I love the dial but I think orange text suits perfect. I found some sharp edges on the lugs once I removed the brazalete. I do not think this is the best finished Pagani I own. Anyway I love this watch. The gap under the crown is nice and welcomed detail. Keep on doing like that!💪 Thanks!

Great review, Steve. If Pagani would include much better lume when applicable and a adjustable on the fly designed clasp they'd have a bunch of home runs with their watches for value, usability, and comfort. I like this homage and have the link you provided in my cart.

I bought one in the June sale and it has exceeded my expectations. The only negatives (as you mentioned) are the lume on the hands and the frustrating clasp. Apart from those it's amazing value for money.

Pagani needs to step up their @6mm wide clasps. This was good like 3 years ago, but not so much any more. Just simplify it like San Martin does, or go full out "on-the-fly" adjustment

Being a watch collector across all brands, I bought this one in version 2. Decent watch, wears well. NH35 running about 8 sec a day slow. Not too bad. Pretty happy with the watch. The bracelet comes in brushed flat finish, which does not do this watch justice, so I polished mine, and I am incredibly satisfied with the looks of it now. Looks much more premium after a very light polish. Lamination is a 3 out of 10 but not a deal breaker.

Love mine. It does not have the "UGS" on the dial, so that makes me happy. I have not been able to get the divers extension open, luckily I get a great fit without the micro adjust. One day, I will have to "force" it.

Great review, I also have purchased this watch but the V2. Personally I prefer the orange UGS print on the the V1 i think it adds to dial and help break up the colour. In all the videos and the pictures I was expecting the dial colour to be less turquoise and more blue, so I was a little disappointed when mine arrived, however over time I have begun to appreciate it. I have mine on a tan leather strap with a deployment clasp, much much nicer than the bracelet in my opinion. Love your videos, looking forward to your next review. 😉👍

I bought one of these for a friend for Christmas and he LOVES it!! he was shocked and, for a moment, he thought it was real....lol...well....maybe. He wears it quite often and his wife told me that he really does wear it all the time. I just got a PD-1701 that is just shockingly good, as well!!

LOVE the colour of the dial, not the biggest fan of the thunder seconds hand but no big deal. I was expecting you'd put this on a light brown leather strap, think it'll match perfectly, or any white one (summery!). Cheers mate, be well. Yeah a bit late to this particular party but the upside is these are a lot less money @ the moment…currently $80.On the listing it states that the sapphire is green….is it? or is it just the edges ?.The reason I ask is because I came across a vid of the Rolex milgauss & they made a point of Rolex stating that the green glass being extreme hard to create & too time consuming so they didn’t patent it…Was that just bs on Rolex’s part.Thanks for another excellent review

That looks nice. I think with the cheaper brands like Pagani, Steeldive, etc, it might be better to buy simpler watches like this - a simple case, NH35, and a good dial and hands (not dive watches and not watches with complications). And they are amazing values for around $70. I'd actually prefer an option to buy with no bracelet, or with only a cheap FKM strap, at a lower price. Because at this price point I don't think the metal bracelets are good enough.

+10 seconds each day is terrible. Pagani do NOTHING to regulate the movements in their watches, though luckily its not too difficult to do yourself. My pd1651 was around +17 seconds per day, but i managed to get it to around +3 per day, but still the accuracy fluctuates quite a lot with these rather crappy Seiko movements.

they definitely aren't swiss COSC movements, but +10spd is right on the edge of acceptable for me. if I wanted super accurate and cheap, I go with some quartz watch.
