I can play violin, cello and bass. It is harder on Bass. It is much easier to shred on violin. Intonation-wise it is hard to make accurate notes but shredding fast wise bass is bloody hard. 😄😄

​@@user-ot2sn1mz7b Although I know it's a crime to compare guitar and bass, but I can play the guitar and it's definitely a lot easier than the violin. And bass is similar to that. The only reason you can play violin faster is because the notes are closer together, but nothing about that makes it easier. Yea, you can see in his 4th variation and somewhere near the end, he actually played those notes slower and more evenly than the original where the first two notes of each bar was long and the rest were really fast. That's because it's really hard to pluck the strings and move your fingers across the fingerboard that fast.

We had to study this piece on classical guitar for Jose Tomás in Alicante, Spain. It's amazing what a fantastic job Charles has done here!
