Paganini was truly a sadist for writing upsettingly beautiful music like this which crushes my dreams and ambition.

I imagine that when I'm giving my dog ear scratches and face rubs, he feels like I do when I'm listening to this guy. All 24 were recorded over two days, in two cities (one session in London and one in Paris the next day if I remember the sleeve notes correctly) during a tour.

People make and listen to whatever they want, popular is to say that it's widely successful and most musicians striving to become professional will of course cater to the general opinion. I only publish my own music regardless of how it's perceived by the general populace. Why, you might ask, because I enjoy creating and playing my own music and to positively impact anyone else is a just plus. As such, I would never cater to the "popular" kind of music whether in regard to classical or not. I do my thing.

Well, It's a bit difficult, I play Sax for the Jazz band I'm in, Clarinet was for concert band in high school, Guitar was with my friends, bass is for when another guitar player is there, I played piano for church, and violin is really the only one that I play simply for myself...I mean, I'm guite good at saxaphone, bass, guitar, and paino by now, I've only been playing for ten years.

By your response you are bringing shame to the classical world. I am a violinist. I started recently, and I am trained classically. I love classical more than anything else, so why are is your response implying that my taste has not "matured beyond MERICA"? I am Nicaraguan (living in Hong Kong). I just happen to have a much broader taste in music. I really do pity people who can't appreciate beauty in things that are objectively beautiful. It just sucks for you, really.

Do not tell me Imagine Dragons sucks (listen to "Radioactive"). "Approaching popular and original"; EDM violin is not popular and original? And since when does technically difficult necessarily mean good? Now I'm not arguing that these artists are better than classical composers, cause they're not, but I still find it dumb to call all modern musicians sh*^#. And I never said Lindsey is technically better at the violin, but her music CAN and HAS made an impact on people's lives.

I'm trying to learn violin, piano, guitar, bass, clarinet, and saxaphone all at once, It's not working out very well. I'd two instruments is preferable, like piano and violin, or piano and guitar, or piano and sax, but more than two and you start to forget what you're playing.
