Dang elitist much? A lot of music throughout the years has been made by synthesizing different styles and music inspirations into one piece. A lot of classical music was made by rewriting folk songs into a different genre that was trendy at the time (classical music). It's hypocritical to gatekeep the use of classic music into current, trendy genres since that's how a lot of classical music originated anyways.

To answer this: it’s time for a story! A little while before this concert, Eddy and Brett over their channel, TwoSetViolin, released a video of Eddy, protraying Paganini, reviewing Blackpink’s song, “Shutdown.” The song heavily samples La Campanella-it’s practically built upon the main theme. Because of some of the jokes Eddy and Brett used in their video, many Blackpink fans ridiculed them in the comments; and quite harshly, at that. In response: TwoSet released a parody music video of, “Shut Down,” which they titled: “Sellout.” In that parody, the lyrics, “If you think that you’re really the Kpop queens…then you better think TWICE.” Precede the three ‘dings,’ which are also included in the parody; except Eddy sings ‘ding ding ding.’ The line itself is a reference to the loop group: TWICE, who, like Blackpink, are also quite popular in the west. TL;DR: it’s an inside joke that requires a lot of backstory to understand. I didn’t want to assume anything here, so I figured it would be best to outline it all. ^_^

0:49 I still dislike how the audience giggles there. It's the whole point of the piece and other audiences around the world respect that magical part. It's the equivalent of being at a funeral and when the reverend says "and now we lay George to rest", a few members of the family giggle and mutter under their breath: "Yeah. George *did* like to rest all the time hehe. Good one Reverend!"

@@ShadowCooper77 Yeah it's not the best. I can't be bothered trying another one though. It's just that this is the first time I've heard an audience laugh at that part. I'm guessing (because many people were introduced to classical music by TwoSet) that they're not aware that the piece legitimately revolves around that little bell, and they thought it was perhaps another gimmick that TwoSet came up with. That's sort of the only reason I can think of for all the giggling. I also assume that many people in the audience don't know the translation for: la campanella.
