Why start these little girls off with the unrealistic goal of perfection... and worse yet, why set them up to compete against against one another?! This should be a time to grow up naturally, to be children who discover new things, form bonds of friendship, to find their natural interests, favorite hobbies, talents... To read, to explore, to learn, to imagine. This is - in my opinion - irresponsible parenting. If you only wanted something to show off, you could have gotten a dog and taken it for long walks... or better yet, spent some time in counseling and taken parenting classes before being responsible for any other living thing.

Right!!!!!! I understand natural Pageants for children to help with self esteem. However, fake nails, fake tan, and fake eyelashes is wrong for toddlers like I have seen on the show. I want a pageant for underprivileged children where they get to design their own look. This whole pageant thing seems fun but in reality the whole concept is absolutely terrible because its literally young children being judged on their appearance which puts allot of pressure on themselves and can make themselves or others insecure cuz if you've noticed it sets the standards of being tan, skinny, having perfect teeth etc. Also in most cases their not even fully developed, for example her teeth are still growing out and with time or braces they will improve
