Pageant of Might and Magic AFK Clear (

Clearing the boss rush / gauntlet quest Pageant of Might and Magic with AI only while AFK in Granblue Fantasy: Relink.
Builds are included at the end of the video.
This quest can drop Berserker Echo+, which is pretty much a mandatory sigil for DPS. While the other boss rush has a higher drop rate for Berserker Echo+, this one is MUCH easier. I'm not sure if it's possible to consistently AFK farm the other one due to the timer (outside of scripts/macros).
The setup in this video usually clears in 12:00 to 14:30 (ingame time) and has not failed a single run for me so far. The AI in this video are very well geared, but it's not BiS and their gear can still be improved.
Blocking
- You must hold down block while AFKing. Otherwise your AFK character will most likely die too much and run out the Critical Gauge.
- You can use a rubberband for controller, or a weight for keyboard.
Team choice
- I started with the standard Eugen, Zeta, Cag team. This timed out quite often so I cut Cag and put in Yoda for more DPS.
- However, Zeta seems to die quite a lot and without Cag's revive and runs would sometimes fail due to her draining the Critical Gauge. So I cut Zeta and replaced her with Sandalphon, which I heard was a decent AI.
- The end team is Eugen, Yoda and Sandalphon. You can see that Sandy actually has the highest DPS on the team.
Builds
- For the AFKing character, build for full survivability and guard.
- For AI, I try to take a bit of each useful utility - i.e. Improved Dodge, Autorevive, Nimble Onslaught, Uplift, Quick Cooldown.
- Rest is just stacking damage, cap and supplementary damage.
- I take Provoke on Yoda to "leash" the bosses somewhat.
- If you don't have a full set of Supplementary Damage V+s, you would lose out on some utility slots or Luci sigil slots compared to the builds in this video. You should still be able to beat the quest AFK, though maybe not with a 100% clear rate.
Further improvements
- War Elemental+
- Good subtraits on Berserker Echo+. I intentionally used ones with bad subtraits since you probably wouldn't be farming this quest if you already had good ones.
- Good 20/15/10 weapon stones.
- Tinkering with utilities, Luci sigils and Supplementary Damage may yield some optimizations for these fights.

Still AFKfarm Behemoth and not a single War+. Two friends got one just doing 5 quests and the other one used AFK and have two. RNG on my does not give me any drop on War+, just the other curio+

It is what it is unfortunately. Drop rate is very low so variance is huge. I haven't gotten a usable WE+ yet either...

Can you five me tips on making the AI builds please. I have never used the AI to do OP missions, always played online but seeing zero is here, near impossible to do with randoms I need to build my AI to do it with. Do you need the AI to have potion hoarder, improved dodge, guts, autorevive etc as you would (might) have yourself? I mean they always do perfect dodges and guards anyway but still some of my AI die on missions anyway. I see you were using glass canon for them too, so I guess that is useful for them. What about life on the line? Also any tips on what are the best AI to use? I heard cagliostro is one of the best AI, and Eugen for damage but I dont have cagliostro levelled and have seen Eugen just standing around doing nothing in some missions, especially where it lots of enemies rather than just 1 boss.

Have a look at this spreadsheet first, compiled by the Relink Discord. It contains a tier list and recommended setups. They perfect dodge a lot so Nimble Onslaught is very good on them. Improved Dodge also helps them dodge even better. - They do not guard. - Most AI are terrible at dealing damage. The good ones are the top tier ones in the spreadsheet. Even then, they are nowhere near as good as a good player. They are pretty consistent though. - All AI will just stand around doing nothing sometimes, not much you can do about it. - Auto-revive is useful for hard fights. - I don't use Guts, but it can also be useful for hard fights. I just find that it's not really needed. - AI do not use Potions. - General building strategy is just pure damage since they are good at surviving. - Glass Cannon is pretty free on AI since they dodge so well.

@@grandskyace I was thinking that they don't use potions. Thing is my rackam, which I use for general farming like slimes and farming skeletons for centrums, well I have his move where he blows himself up, really good to nuke bosses fast for farming centrums, but I used it on larger bosses like pyet-A and he gets his health back fast, so someone is using potions. its not regen from his terminus either as that would take forever. Thanks for the tips and spreadsheet. I am gonna focus on building a full squad for farming offline. Most content I cant fond people now anyway.

How do you get Supplementary Damage V+? my team are Cagliostro, Io and Narmaya, i play with zeta but i always run off time, everyone has the terminus maxed

For Supp V+, best way is through tons and tons of Behemoth farming, mostly AFK. Even then it takes a long time / lots of luck to get a full set. If you're running out of time, try adding more damage/damage cap/damage cap break to your builds if it's not maxed. You can also try some other AI characters. For example, the ones in this video should usually do more damage than your AI team.

Does improved healing work with regen or is that only used for when Cagliostro is on the team and is replaceable?

Improved healing does make you regen more. It's not really crucial for the AFK build though. I just had spare slots and it was better than nothing.

Whats the purpose of AFK farming the Boss Rush?

Mainly for the new Berserker Echo+ sigil, which gives a huge DPS increase. Both boss rushes drop it. This one has a lower drop rate (though still pretty high at like 20%) but is MUCH easier than the other one.

Seriously, I must be farming wrong or not enough. Been AFK farming Behemoth for the longest and I can't get a single Sup V+, not even from Curios. Idk how you have so many.

It's really just volume and luck. I think I got 3 Supp V+ just the other day while AFKing for War Elemental+. Didn't get a single WE+ though...

I found that she can die quite a lot in these fights and, without Cag revive, the runs sometimes fail because of it. Her DPS is still top tier but for consistency purposes I cut her for Sandy (for this particular quest).

For me, she doesn't always die but, on average, dies noticeably more than other AI in certain quests like this. It's probably just due to her playstyle, cause she stays in the air for so long.
