Pahrump draws thousands of fireworks shoppers ahead of 4th of July celebrations

Residents from Las Vegas and neighboring states flock to Pahrump in Nye County to buy fireworks. But those patriotic revelers can face fines if caught with them in Clark County. Shakeria Hawkins reports.

The same stories every time this year. Fireworks burn down houses and sharks bight. No one has the political will to end all fireworks sales. If the legal so called safe and sane fireworks sales were ended that would help prevent illegal fireworks from coming into our valley because they could then be easily detected. There are plenty of other ways to raise money for non-profits other than firework booths. I would love to see drone shows come to Vegas instead.
