Honestly, Paige might have the most comprehensive yet succinct way of describing flights of any in the bag videos I’ve seen. Her poise and demeanor are great to watch, and adding her top talent makes this one of the best disc showcases to date. Might just pick up a fierce to support.

Did the usual "try all the putters" move when I couldn't be consistent, ended up on the Fierce and had numerous rounds of not missing a single C1 putt (which is unusual for me!), love the understable-ness for the glide on a push putt

Your PP Fierce was the first disc I ever purchased, after my starter set, before I ever even started playing. That and the zone are my absolute favorite approach shot discs for sure at this point after playing maybe 10 times total.. I’ve come a long way already and watching your content has surely helped!!

I agree with JJ J comment, Pierce rocketed into disc golf but has the wisdom of less is more. Clear and easy to understand. Definitely wanna try the Fierce. The production quality of the 3 tracing shots together is good too to understand the flight paths of each disc. Cooky Victoria BC

Of the discs mentioned, currently, I have an Avenger SS. My favorite putter right now is a tie between the Soft Challenger and the Ace Race 2011 Putter, which is called the Zepplin I think.

Cool to see your disc selection for 2020! I love the Zone and throw primarily Jawbreaker plastic, but also the Z. I actually putt with the Jawbreaker Zone also, although have started to investigate the Luna for the job. Also bag the ESP Buzzz, it’s such a great versatile disc that does anything I ask it to.

I use the zues, force, flex oldschool buzz, and banger gt in my bag. The flash is very good also i need to get another one of those, ive got a couple aces with the orange Z plastic flash's. Ive got really old banger gt and a really old buzz from like 5-10 years ago in my bag too lmao. They are beat to heck but they fly decent still.

I've been baging Zone 7-8 years, well, well before it came to be a thing, and it will never leave. Now I have 3, 2016 Ledgestone edition, zawbreaker and very beaten D. Havw Banger GT's few years now my main throwing putter, overstable enough for touchy sidearm shots but not as OS Zone.

The SOL is just a tad more understable than the Fierce :D I love it for anhyzer approaches! I also putt with the Z Breeze, which is an old discraft mold that is 99% like the SOL, just a bit more flat in profile. Im loving the new PP Esp Stalker too! Its become an important part of my bag and i almost never throw straight midranges anymore because the Stalker and the X Soft Ringer-GT covers all those shots from slow to "almost distance driver" fast :D

Great video! My Zones are marked as Putt & Approach, but I’ve heard Paul McBeth sometimes refer to them as Midrange too. I’m guessing Discraft classification is just different than DD or Innova. Perhaps it should just be labeled GREAT DISC! Thanks! 🔴⚪️🥏😷🙏🏻

Well Paige also said she uses her Sol as an approach disc when it's really a mid-range. There's a lot of disc that are in-betweeners and can be used differently depending on how it works for you. The Zone really blurs that P&A and mid-range line because it's built like a putter, generally used as an approach disc, but is thrown like a mid-range. If you don't throw it with enough power, that disc just bombs out of the air. Discraft focuses heavily on their stability rating and goes from there for their classification. Innova strictly base their classification on disc speed and split up the categories from there. DD doesn't like to really focus on the numbers and wants to emphasis on only using the numbers as a quick starting reference.

Matt Barker I just looked at the Zone on Discraft site. The stamp on the Zone says “Putt and Approach 2.0”. So it can be viewed as more than just a putter.

This is one of the pieces that we decided to do differently with these videos. The players get to classify the discs for how they use them vs how we categorize them. Aka Paige uses her Zone as a Mid and her Sol for approaches 🙂

Excellent choices, minus the Force, Banger GT. I use the ESP Challenger instead of the bangerGT. The Force I use the Nuke OS. The Buzzz are perfect and the putters damn I cant even begin to say how great the Fierce putters are. The Zones I am not sold on yet, a Buzzz still does everything I would need a zone for.
