How did this record happen???? Ian and Minstry is a super unexplainable combo. There was an all-ages dance club in Chicago in the 80's called Medusas that played all rave-style dance music, My high school friend went there every week. I went with him a couple times. Every saturday they played I Will Refuse and there would be a circle pit every time. So weird.

This was still fairly early days for Al - he hadn't derailed as much as he would in later years. Remember he started out playing sparkly glam pop. But yeah - can't imagine him being clean at the time and Ian overlooking his philosophy

I saw the Exploited and Biohazard at medusas 1991. The pit for the Exploited was insane, skins all around it smash everyboby that came by. I went in once went straight across to the other side and walked around to my friends.
