Well said. I enjoyed your presentation. I am a pain patient. The things we really need from a doctor are compassion first. It's horrible to be in pain . I do it all, swim therapy, stretching therapy, spirituality, supplements. I've tried everything, I had failed back surgery and now I have a huge amount of painful arthritis around the titanium plate. Having to go once a month to get refills is more stress on us. Thank God I have disability, but who can live on 1,000 a month? Miy mortgage is $570, CPS was $330 and my waterbill was $85. That leaves nothing for food, and yet I'm grateful for it. God Bless You, Laura

At 11:00 I broke down and cried. My doctor rushes me through my appointments. I want to wear my heels again, I want not feel like my life is over. My kids visit me in my room instead of the kitchen or living room like it use to be. My mother is 76 and is in better shape than me. I used to go out with my friends or co/workers and now I’m glued to my bed. I had to quit my job. I’m waiting on my disability to go through. I just want to manage my pain better than I’m am now. I want to get back to my life!!!

I hope you find some relief and get that opportunity to wear your heels again. Don't give up. I have Psoriatic Arthritis and Ankylosing Spondylitis. After ten orthopedic surgeries I went to a rheumatologist who diagnosed me correctly. I empathize with you. Just don't give up the fight.

Hail on your heels, instead of thinking about your health with your children, maybe your grandchildren, you're thinking about those heels that can affect your illness! 👎👎

Wow…..lots of information…..sure wish I could talk to this man……I have had nine of these options explained to me. Every time I have requested information on other procedures or coordination with physical therapy, I have been told there is nothing.

Most informative. Wish I could have seen the pointer. As the Dr. pointed to things on the slide no pointer showed so wasn't always sure what he was talking about.

Absolutely LOVE Tabitha Knight and Dr.Kareem Rasheed! I suffer from chronic back pain and severe spasms, so Tabitha and Dr.Rasheed have both been a God send. I often tell people that if it wasn't for them, I don't know what I would do. They save me every single time I go see them! I owe them my life!

I have psoriatic spondylitis versus ankylosing spondylitis with psoriasis. I happen to be a physician and was on medical disability for > 2 years due to pain and fatigue. I had a Boston Scientific spinal cord stimulator implanted and my back pain is 60-70% improved and I can sit in a chair long enough to do modified physician work again. I've also had RFA, facet injections, other joint injections, nerve blocks, and epidurals. Thank God for the time we live in, this disease really does take a village to manage and keep me in the workforce.

Kevin Fischer Well we all know you have the best medical care money can buy and your disability check is probably not like mine! And I have Medicare insurance. So my team of doctors are not as brilliant as yours sir!

I went on the Carnivore diet (all animal: meat, fish, eggs, poultry, organ meats, et al) about 7 weeks ago and my pain was 99% gone within the first few days. And, because I had so much inflammation, my body was holding a lot of water and when I switched to that diet, along with losing the pain and inflammation, I immediately lost 8 pounds of water-weight!

I was in great pain untill December. For some reason maybe because I went to a acupunture sessions and on and off with diclofenac now I'm better. But the specialist want me to take Celebrex. I took one and my stomach went into great pain. I haven't taken it anymore. I went back to diclofenac for three days and ibuprofen on and off and I'm managing the pain ok. I'm going to see my doctor again very soon. My question is : Do I have to take the Celebrex evem though I'm dealing with the pain valiently?

I am from your area Dr. I am a Chronic Pain Patient NOW due to Trauma of the Spine, 2 broken Lumbar s and Cauda Equina Syndrome for Several Year's. The interesting thing is that I was Diagnosed with AS prior to my Lumbar shattering after a 3 level Fusion. Now I have Kyphosis and Spinal NeuroAropathy. I am a Severe Complicated Patient. Continuing with all Modalities you presented. For SEVERE Intractable Pain due to Trauma, how can we be treated appropriately with Opiate's which is proven to work. There are those that need beyond this MADE UP, NON FDA Approved of 90 MMEs That is an erroneous # made up by PROP! How can we be Treated?

I have have had many abdominal surgeries I have a colostomy vistula can not where a colostomy bag; excuse of a crease that goes through the area of the colostomy. I will not survive another surgery because my wbcc is 1.5 this what my surgeon told me and it is true i do very well taking methadone for pain and the pain of acid i must clean up.multiple times in 24 hours lam in cirrhosis Stage3 cirrhosis will live for years if I can take about 40 mg of a day I get severe tachycardia withdrawing from methadone even taking morphine and other opoids. No way will I survive another doctor that try's to take me off methadone. In 1980 I was crushed and had a colostomy for 3 years. I know great deal about colostomy I have been resection 6 times for I don't have constipation. But thats because my colostomy starts about a foot into my coline I am sick of the games some pm.dr play I have good pain control and my body is physical dependent on methadone I don't suffer depression nor anxiety. I have no desire to Die I have faimly support I live in a house that needs work but is comfortable. I Don't need saving but am a Christian. Why do some doctors act like jerk and rather use up my precious time I have left to live just to try to get me off methadone

Once you mentioned using antidepressants as part of a treatment option for pain I realized you are totally out of touch with the extremely harmful effects of these drugs. As for spirituality, what a load of crap that is🙄
