Painful Trophy Memories

We've all been there - Whether trophies are too difficult, mundane or too long.. some trophies are just painful to earn
I'm going to share some examples of trophies that gave me trouble over the years, ones that really stuck out to me for one reason or another
I hope you guys can relate to these painful trophy memories..

Great video man. I can't imagine many people have stories of trophies causing them physical injury. I think my most painful one is not being able to get to ascension 20 in slay the spire or not getting the speedrun trophy in shovel Knight. Also thanks for the cameo where you throw a spear at me in chivalry!

Haha I'm glad you slotted yourself. I was merely trying to warn you of the incoming danger! I was thinking like street fighter button mashing hurting my hands but I couldn't think of any specific. The jump scare was actually a spider.. I didn't wanna put it in the vid so I found a wolf instead lol You can keep those trophies! I still believe

I was in the exact same position with Mighty No. 9 with one single trophy... I feel your pain. Ended up biting the bullet last year and got the platinum for it. I can now see why the platinum achiever% is absurdly low LOL! Can't recommend it to anyone. My most painful trophy would be Memoirs from Curse of the Dead Gods. You need to get 50 no-hit kills for every enemy in the game. This includes killing bosses several times with no-hit. Some area specific enemies may not spawn at all so luck needs to be on your side. Without cloud saving, it is borderline impossible. A crazy blend of Cloud Saving, Difficult Grinds, RNG, Skill and Time. Truly pain! Looking forward to part two! 👍

It's ultra rare isn't it? I'm considering at least completing it and hopefully getting 30% or whatever. You have the will of steel to see that through haha

@@Mode47yt That's right! 30% sounds doable man! If you ever get around to it, I would recommend getting all the technical bonus trophies from the bosses. That would give you a good chunk of the trophies 😁

Very nice to know even pro hunters have the same issues we casual do. Grindy collecty silly trophies that are repetitive to keep you coming back. 😂 Nice vid man!

MK XL is still unfinished in my collection. So, the crypt trophy lies still ahead of me. :( The bread trophy sounds funny on paper. But a pain to get in-game. Far Cry 3 is one of my favourite games and Platinums and water is just great. I am so happy, that I am not afraid of water. Although, Subnautica was scary at times, not gonna lie. I can’t imagine how the fear of open water must feel. Props for finding a way to get the trophy. I think, that is an important aspect of trophy hunting and an assist by a sibling is always appreciated. Ouch, I felt that Mighty No. 9 example. Play the game, get a trophy and then realise, the game isn’t fun. That phyically hurt. But I give you one on top of that. Dead Nation PS3 was a game like that. And years later I thought: I need more games for my Vita. Let’s buy Dead Nation again. This time I will play it and get the Platinum. Now, I have Dead Nation twice with just a few trophies earned. I am hurting while thinking a about it. I love these meta talks so much. Thanks for sharing your personal memories. I can’t wait for part 2.

Now you can expect the jump scare lol in mk x If I ever replay it I might need you to grab some of those shark relics! Too scary for me lol. It usually manifests in games if I know there's a beastie in the water Skyrim isn't so bad for example, mostly lakes and 1 enemy type Subnautiva might be top stressful for me, I've managed 300 meters so far I'll deffo go back to mighty, it's just so disappointing compared to megaman. Only trophies i find frustrating are online trophies. Its so annoying to have plats unobtainable or locked behind MP just because every SP game in the 2010s HAD to have an online mode.

Yep I agree! Expect some multiplayer trophies to pop up in the future! Some of the requirements and commitments are horrendous Especially ps3 2010 games lol

Ngl went into this thinking here we go another rage baiting list that seems to be the trend atm I was pleasantly surprised to hear actual fears and things we put ourselves through I relate big time to the underwater one needed a few drinks in me before playing subnautica Great video very refreshing

I think a list like this makes it a bit more personal and then you guys can relate with your own stuff Subnauitica is a nightmare for me man, 300 meters is all I can manage haha. Slowly gaining confidence whizzing around. Honestly playing with thr sound off sometimes helps me I'm deffo gonna do a part 2, and hopefully have enough horrible trophies for more lol

The One That made my Mental Health Down was The Evil Within on Akumu because of the trophy for beating it on akumu and it was dreadful as hell

This is very relatable. I think for me it's the trophies for hearing loads of navigation lines in Persona 4 Golden (stopped me going for the plat) and Persona 5 which I've got the plat for but I had a tracking spreadsheet for it 🙁 very intense! Enjoyed the video and look forward to part 2

Bakers Dozen was miserable to go for. I got about 4 player kills before I just said fuck it and killed bots to get it instead

I'm pretty sure half of my kills were on bots in the end, absolutely miserable business. The whole trophy list is so uninspired lol. The game is excellent thankfully

Fifa 17, winning the draft trophy made me give up playing fifa online. Was for the better aswell with how shit the fifas became

Yeah i can see why! Yearly sports games are crazy for ultra rare trophies. Servers are always shutting down and player bases moving onto the next, it's rough I don't think I play any yearly releases like that 🤔 unless the odd call of duty counts!
