I'm in the progress of setting up the same ving with the F722 FC which I believe that is is similar in size as the F402. I have no problem soldering the leads directly to the board but would prefer plugs. What do you think about using soldering on 90 degree connectors and maybe cut off some parts of the foam to give some space for the servo and ESC plugs? Since the connections will be in the rear, front and back it is no problem to get some free space by putting the FC to one side of the bay.

This video was extremely helpful for me. Thank you. If I may, I would love to see a video tutorial for INAV on this specific build. I'm new to INAV and will be commencing a build inspired by yours (Cap 2, f405, GPS, crossfire) and am a bit intimidated getting my channels and modes and endpoints/sub trim and GPS rth/failsafe done with confidence. Right now I feel like I'm piecing a dozen videos together. I wouldn't be able to thank you enough if you did that or if unable a resource that helped you. Thanks!

Just a note, if you ever cartwheel or #landed it, expect to lose the gopro mount. i'm working with brain3d on a TPU mount to replace it. what I would suggest is find some way to tether a streamer or a fishing line to the aircraft so you don't lose it when it ejects. and trust me. it WILL eject lol My current gopro is sitting in a swampy field for the last 4 days, hopefully i'll find it before they mow/hay the field. There's also vented TPU covers you can get for the underside bays and also for underneath the ESC bay at the back of the rear firewall. I'm using the F35 from furious FPV and have on e of these sitting in a draw, so i might rebuild my other Caipi2 with that. :D btw, if you need a spare motor eventually, let me know i have a couple spares :D

Assuming that you've set everything up correctly (esc setting in the configuration tab and arming ok) I'd try swapping one of the known good servo outputs with the throttle to rule out a hardware problem on the output pins.. Best of luck

Hi boys, checking in late @painless360 I built a caipirinha and test flew it a few times with my buddy. When in manual mode, full pitch, thrown by my buddy, it goes straight out and starts to climb as desired. But when thrown in autolaunch (It goes into anglemode, full throttle like described above) it first falls down a several meters unti it starts to climb. Stall speed is at about 45km/h (in angle mode, the pitch has not enough power to further pitch up). Would you say its too nose heavy then? any experience?

I have a Caipirinha (flies great) going to convert to iNav. However, how do you set the reflex on it? Do you do that mechanically so the iNav thinks the midpoint on the sticks is center, but you have shortened the linkage rods to give that 5% (roughly) reflex required? Keep up the great work. :-)

Hi Painless360, what version of INav are you using to be able to make the oled display working ? I also have the matek F405Wing with INav 2.0.0 but in CLI the "feature DISPLAY" is not provided anymore !! I tried to use iNav firmware 1.9.1 but still the same. Furthermore, current wiring diagram on Matek website still shows the oled display together with Inav 1.9.x configuration stuff. The feature seems to not be implemented anymore. It's really a shame... I think this is a really handy feature for checking GPS status before flight. Also, I have done my tests without any GPS connected, but still the display could display information like current consumption... Any idea on the subject ?

And the website clearly state that there is a current sensor with scale value of 317... And even if my build is not finished yet, when powered by the power input that board actually mesure current.
