I had a 71 Formula 400 with the Y99 Handling Package suspension (a $205 option!!) that gave you the T/A springs and shocks, the bigger sway bars and I think a quicker steering box. Also included the 15x7 Rallys the same as Trans Am. Very cool setup and handled like on rails for the day and cool thing about the 15's was only Trans Ams and Y99 Formulas had them, every other Firebird was on 14's. 😀

Hi Kerilynn, really appreciate the compliment. Sounds like your bringing up your kids to be gearheads! Great to hear. Reminds me of my daughter when she was growing up (now 33). Glad you like the videos. I'm building an old Suburban which should be very cool when I'm done (another year or so). this is NOT the same one that I have in the 'patina video'. That was a '63. The one I'm building is a '66

Why were the door handles and locks left on vs. removing them? You did a beautiful job- just strange to see them left in place.

Appreciate it. The customer was on a budget. He had chewed me down from the original cost, so we had agreed on some things to save on cost

Beautiful transformation! Did you purchase the T/A fenders or cut and weld the fender extractor vents on?
@TAZattitude2 жыл бұрын
Thank you. The customer supplied all the parts. Goodmark fenders and hood if I remember right.

Where’d you buy the paint from?
@scottf42492 жыл бұрын
If I remember right, the customer purchased his own paint. If we purchased it, it would have been from Ben's paint supply
