yo, i plan on fully repainting a golden knight legion builder 2 into a more gray/silverish look. got any tips?

Honestly, I would start with a silverish knight as opposed to repainting a gold one. The Templar Relic Guard or Dark Templar are both knights with more silverish armor, including joints. Repainting that gold knight silver is a lot of work, and potential paint rub, when there are a number of silver knights out there already.
