The first thing that comes into my mind about you after I see your steps to draw out LoliHime is "10hours non stop!? has he gone for meditation lesson?" Even i could'nt do that, I godda take lots of breaks and sometimes follow my mood. I really admire your ability to that. And sometimes i mixed up layers :P Good skills, very detail

Just practice!!! I sucked when I started, and I'm still not near as good as Yamio or some of the others like Rimapichi, but I've come a long way since I started. It doesn't come fast...improvement is really a gradual thing. Just study and practice a lot!!! you'll get there eventually, and someday you could be as good as her. Just don't give up! Talent helps.. but it's hard work and dedication. Talent can't take you all the way... you have to do that for yourself.

Yamio drawings are hers and hers only, other ppl when they draw on program unless tracing are theirs too :D At first it might be hard but after w while its quite easy, easier than on paper for some but then unless you are good with mouse(even then this method have its ending quite quick) a tablet is a must ;p and some of those are quite pricey but in the long run its good to have ^^

there are several way to do lines like that, actually. Most people do black lines, then use cropping to color the lines a darker color

actually i used to do my art with out a tablet id scan my drawings onto the computer then paint tool sai to color it and tablets are only about 20$ on amazon ones they are usb plug in ones but they work! ^^

this was very helpful! and im only still a beginner learning how to use sai. so just a quick overview from what i saw. is these steps correct? pls help T_T 1 base color set to multiply 2 first shade pen to normal 3 darker shade pen to normal 4 medium shade marker, blur after?? (is this correct?) 5 different color air brush set to overlay dot spots 6 highlight 7 lighter high light please tell me if im missing something else.... thank you soo much for this video!
