I’m getting this set later in the month tho what’s you advice for color mixing and painting Ghibli scene never done so much color variety and mixing esp for certain tones like at night or in rain where the colors are cooler.

Thank you! 🥰 yes actually one of my himi set got moldy and it was to a point I had to throw it away 😭 so I think best way to prevent is either to find a way to close it airtight or let the colors dry out

Question! I've just gotten a new himi gouache set, but I've heard some people's experiences with the paints molding which makes me a little hesitant to start using them.. I'm noticing you dip your wet brush directly in the paints which makes me wonder, have you had any problems with molding before/have you had to take any precautions to make sure it doesn't happen? Lovely video by the way!

So one of my very first himi set got mold in it (it because I used to spray it a lot with water) but the rest of the palette I just try to keep it on the drier side until I paint and it’s been fine so far

Maybe try getting a smaller set with the primaries first? I've actually never used them before, but that's typically a good place to start with any paints if you want to get a feel for what they're like without totally committing to them :)
