I completed both quests for the draw, shared your warcry battle report of corvus cabal vs untamed beasts. You're probably what got me into this hobby, so thank you so much. Most memorable painting experience is probably getting my own corvus cabal finished!

I would recommend that you stick the model on spare paint bottle or get a citadel painting handle.

I was painting necrons in wraithbone main. I found that painting two models at a time to go over one then go over a second then go back over the first one if you need to cause the paint is a bit thin and needs multiple coats. I tried three necrons praarchs or something and two is better than three if multiple coats are needed

Very nice indeed! 😎 I loved how you explained everything you were doing and then showed a close up after every stage 👍, very, very helpful 😍 If he reminds you of a scarecrow why not call him Worzel, after "Worzel Gummidge", I always found him creepy af, lol

From my experience, give a good silver background of runefang steel. Then mixing some medium with the black, 2:1-ish lets the black to be enough transparent that the silver gives it that shining effect but not so much that you lose control over it - like you were afraid you'd be doing by just using a black wash. I haven't tried with black contrast yet, but can't see why it shouldn't work with the contrast medium. And because of the inherent nature of contrast paints you'd it'll be easier to blend.

Hi Naomi, great video. Like the chill casual approach to you painting and narrating what your doing. Question, where did you get those citidal paint pots? They look much better than the standard ones.

It takes me an eternity to paint my Tau because I do them bright pastel colours, and that means layering a model about 500 times.

I need a tutorial on how to QUICKLY remove mold lines !! Spending days getting rid of them. I have blunt and sharp x-acto knives, sander sticks from Vallejo of various grain and magnification lenses. One and a half days to remove mold lines on two boxes of elf union for blood bowl . What am I doing wrong?
5 жыл бұрын
Nothing. I even have a wood cutting knife to get rid of them. It's just one of those pain in the butt things that you have to do. Imagine what it's like to do 120+ Imperial Guardsmen and you'll feel my pain.
@aspektx5 жыл бұрын
I think GW has a knife designed for scraping curves and such. But I've not used it.
@swordnsteele7125 жыл бұрын
We use the Citadel mouldline remover and careful use of the hobby knife (using the dull side over the sharp side whenever possible) Hope that helps!
@davedogge22805 жыл бұрын
@@swordnsteele712 that'sal you can really do, citadel tool for curves, dull an blunt x-acto blade 11, Vallejo Dual Grit Flexi Sanders and a few iron files both round and flat. That's all you can use really, some people use dremmel power tools but that's for large pieces really others melt mold line with a sort of plasti glue but that I'm guessing takes experience brushing it on. I guess time and experience and patience and technique is key.

More of these videos would be nice! Got me get to grips with my latest project and do some test painting done. A question, how do you sit? Your table seems to be at a really nice height, but do you have a chair or do you sit on a pillow on the floor?
@swordnsteele7125 жыл бұрын
I'm sitting at a standard height table, but I have a sturdy box that I lay paper towel over for my painting area :)
@rangda_prime5 жыл бұрын
@@swordnsteele712 Ah, I see! That's a surprisingly easy to implement solution that I for some reason have never tried in spite of being an old painting fart. :P I'll have to find me a box...
