Yes, but there's more to it. A lot of it is Quarter Horse blood. Even as foals they want to please and these foundation foals are very smart. Henson also does a GREAT job.

Wow! Henson is needed here OR I need to bring my 'babies' (no so little any more) to you guys! Adopted/rescued from kill pen - only haltered once each so far (my bad - Mom needs me more just now) and I'm no spring chick! Looking forward to spending time with them very soon. Now, they are on pasture with other rescues - growing onery, fat and sassy - so much better than the thin, sick, poor things they were. Thanks for sharing - I'm hoping to be "Henson cool" with my yearlings very soon.

Your foals are absolutely beautiful! I think their careful breeding shows not only physically but also in temperament. Not to mention your patient expertise in handling. That "smart" foal with the white diamond face was quite a different personality, you handled him perfectly. Henson has a "Horse Whisperer" way with the foals. A little pressure just where and when needed. He is a joy to watch handling the horses. 💘 🐎 GSD's 🇺🇸 Lincoln is trying to help by herding the foals however the 2nd one wasn't liking that any. Good try fella.

I really like him using the "bat" (training stick) for desensitization. It keeps him safe and is, in my opinion, the only way to start foals and untrained horses to protect the trainer. This is a BEAUTIFUL little blue foal.

I love the color of this colt. Is the color blue roan? What age are the colts? The bay with the star is nice too. Really nice little palomino. I had a beautiful palomino quarter horse years ago... Since I was a novice I ended up selling her to a friend of mine who's much more experienced as me and she used her as a broodmare before selling her. My friend has been in the cutting horse business for years.

About 5 months or so
