Will Corel offer discounts for the upgrade? I know I have put well over a thousand dollars into Corel painter having used it since it was first released. Why must we pay half the original price each year? I love the program but $229 is a bit too steep for me. I do not use it to generate income...I use it for my own pleasure. If the upgrades were every three years or so, then maybe I could see...but this amount each year? I cannot afford that.

Just go on Humble Bundle (now). There you usually get it for 25$ incl. brushes and other stuff.

Painter 2021 does not see your RTX 2080. Very small result - 4525 points, my system is identical, the difference is only in the videocard GTX 1080 ti and I have - 13776 points. And suggests that the new program does not support new video cards...hm?!
