Fact # 1: Sheep and goat ranchers will keep a donkey around the sheep and goats as their body guard. Why? If a coyote or wolf tries to go after sheep and goats, Donkeys have been known to kick and headbutt coyotes and wolves to DEATH (yes, Donkeys can headbutt and their headbutt attacks are NASTY and can kill to the point where even wolves will lose a fight to a Donkey. Donkeys can also be jerks since they are very territorial and they will attack coyotes and wolves if they even get somewhat close to them (even of the coyote and wolf are minding their own business). Which leads me to the next fact. Fact # 2: While Donkeys aren't normally violent towards humans, they can get VERY stubborn and they will refuse to follow orders sometimes. If a human keeps forcing them over and over and decides to hit the Donkey, the Donkey can become extremely aggravated and will kick or headbutt the human. A kick or headbutt from a Donkey can cause VERY serious pain and damage to a human (and could even cause death depending on which area of the body the Donkey hits a human). There have been SEVERAL reports of Donkeys murdering humans, one of the more nasty reports was down in Brazil during 2021 when a Donkey bit a man on his neck and literally ripped his neck out with his teeth. POINT OF THIS RANT: If a Donkey ends up in hell, there is a reason for it and the Donkey knows full damn well what they did. LMAO.

I was actually interested to see if there was a possibibiloty to interact with the giant squid thing that was in multi-player and possibly single player. It seemed like it was intended to be a rare boss enemy that could show up but the footage shows it doesn't really do anything and just wanders and yeah I can imagine if you just have caveman tools you don't want to try and antagonize it. But seriously why put something potentially actually terrifying like that in your survival game but give it the mind of an aimless wandering land jellyfish that doesn't even attempt attacking if you end up seeing it in the distance? It's just there.
@genius8459 Жыл бұрын

What you're glossing over is why Kojima was fired from Konami. Neither of them are entirely blameless. Konami did some bad shit, but Kojima was also becoming a real diva behind the scenes. He was wasting tons of money on MGSV, and Konami's budgets were in the red. They were banking on MGSV to bail them out, and initial reception didnt make back the 80 million at first. It was only after about a year that it finally did. This, and Kojima working on Silent Hills without their permission. Konami owns the IP. Reportedly, he was working on Silent Hills with Del Toro out of pocket, and after MGSV, Konami didn't like that. And nobody seems to mention that Kojima only took 2 other people from Kojima Productions with him. A financer and Yoji Shinkawa, his long-time key artist.

PREACH. I love MGS but man did the fanbase feed Kojima's Ego. Yet the same fans will sit there and blame Konami on MGSV not being complete, and everything else when it was damn near ENTIRELY Kojima's fault because he was over the MGS franchise and wanted to make something else and he was; like you said, wasting a bunch of time and money. Does anyone else remember the weekly posts Kojima did of "The Power of FoxEngine?" Like boy, I don't see any of those office assets being used at all in MGSV or PT. Konami isn't entirely at fault for what went down, Kojima imo shares most of it.
@Levyathyn Жыл бұрын
Kojima had a turn, but it's hard for me to blame him. The man has been trying to quit Metal Gear Solid since before MGS2 came out, and Konami kept luring him back and when money and bargains weren't enough, they started intentionally adding more and more awful things to the series to get him to come back. It's been decades of him struggling to try and get any other kind of game out there, and I really hate that he split from Konami when that was about to happen.
@hvn_gng4 ай бұрын
@@Levyathyn if Jokima wanted to end the series before MGS2 he would've fixed his goddamn plot. Don't excuse half-ass story-telling just because it's cool. It's cool as SH!T but even I would say it would have been easier to end Metal Gear if he vaguely finished the story and just refused to work on it. At least then he wouldn't have wasted resources working on Fox Engine and secretly developing PT/Silent Hill when it wasn't sanctioned by the studio he works for.

I put this one off for many years 'cause of the drama with Hideo and I'm a long time Metal Gear fan, finally picked it up on at a heavy discount a little while ago. Still haven't played it yet, not sure what to expect. I guess one reason I bought it anyways was because the gameplay and controls for MGS5 are so tight, and a joy to work with when you get them down. I was craving more of that. And wasn't completely tired with the "survival/base building" genre that has taken off in past years. But the live service part, YUCK I didn't know that about it. Maybe it's my old brain remembering how things used to be, "Live service, huh? Oh of course, it means they've got some optional online features too." Not realizing, NOPE this bullshit isn't optional, it's always-online even if you only play singleplayer. Putting the worst features in gaming together. LOL, maybe I should go back to my 75% complete Death Stranding save first. Kojima seemed to pull off all the things he was working on already with that one, Guillermo Del Toro is in it, creepy open world environment where you must avoid creatures that are actually completely unlike zombies, and do have a dark and deep backstory to them. Optional online features, and player structures. Yeah, I'm thinking Death Stranding was the game Metal Gear Survive always wanted to be: imaginative, unique, impactful.
