Beautiful Art. I'm an Artist myself, but there's something about watching an Artist create magic out of a blank. Love all your work man.

Being honest, at first having the camera view from the cintiq was kinda awkward but now I see how cool and different from the usual stuff it is, since we only see the brush ball and never the actual artist hand and that's huge on your videos man. Amazing project

Hello, I meant to write for a while now. I juste wanted to say that your work is a true inspiration. I really like the path you've taken, and working as you do in animation for you own projects is something I truly which I could do some day. Respect man.

I can not tell you how much your videos (and this one in particular) help me relax and switch off. Well, except the on-location discovery of the human poops.

Lol, Auto pilot I know what you mean lol. I do want to tackle something that crazy myself, but I tried a render picture which basic but I failed, it was a ruins but you gotta take foreground mid an background into consideration with shadows and lighting. Understanding depth and resolution takes experience and patience. You serve those qualities well but me not so much. Loved your episode anyways, thanks 4 sharing. Can't wait to see more olof.

It's dope and I really appreciate the way you design creative things by the way. Can you please make a full and in-depth tutorial on how you art your desired canvas by using Adobe photoshop just like you did on the existing video?

But you could have made some Tree PNGs, place them on some extruded 3D Geometry that looks like mountains, render it out, and then do some corrections and shadows
@smfe2 жыл бұрын
Hey Olof! I really enjoy your videos. You were talking a lot about the brush you used for the trees, so I was wondering what exact brush is it? I find myself struggling a lot with large amounts of trees, so this might help me out. Let me know!
@OlofStorm2 жыл бұрын
Well its kinda the opposite, its not a tree brush but just a textured round brush. Instead of relying on a brush to paint the trees I instead painted all the trees manually.

Do you have a job in animation industry or youtube is a job? Asking because want to be a frame by frame animator in anime-like style, but affraid there is no job. And there is almost no animaton 2d-industry in my country. Affraid that i will starving without food if become an animator (dont like 3d or other style\types of animation)
@OlofStorm2 жыл бұрын
I am a freelance artist in the industry, mainly working for ad agencies on commercials. KZbin is also part of my job nowdays. Its super tricky to say what will work and I dont want to give advice on what people should do, but to have more options I would not solely focus on one discipline, but rather be a bit of a generalist. I do all things from 3d jobs, motion graphics to illustration and directing.
