jon i have some yoctosun magnifying glasses which have five clip on lenses of different strength , they are great for painting miniatures, without them i could not paint mine. your paint job is very good well done.

Yeah! Those are great! I actually use reading glasses AND a magnifying headset. It makes it workable, but age keeps catching up to me! Thanks so much for your kind words, and for watching and commenting!

Another awesome video, Jon! I will be watching this one again with my daughter, as she is 9 and getting into figure painting. I bought her a box of “fantasy minis for gaming” and she is excited to paint with dad! Also, those flames look fantastic! They would make Mike Levalee proud! I don’t know why I never thought of doing something like that, especially considering I have a small background in custom auto paint and airbrushing…. I do agree that the yellow is a bit (just a bit) overpowering. What do you think of adding a little Tamiya clear orange over top? That should tone it down, as well as add some extra depth…. Anyhow, I’ve rambled on long enough…cheers, my friend!

My work is often dictated by the release schedule I try to keep though, and quite often I get to a point where I say "that'll do, pig. Now move along." :) So I moved on! (I'd actually done quite a bit of back and forth on it and finally made myself stop.) Thanks again for watching and commenting!
