I have watched this several times now! So many great techniques demonstrated. I appreciate your impressionistic approach. It’s a goal of mine and after watching you, I think I will be braver. The outcome may not be as lovely, but it’s a learning process. I also want to mention that your demonstration of color mixing and explanation of color theory is very helpful. Please keep up the videos. You are my go to at this time.

That's a beautiful piece. The last 10 minutes of the process were crucial. The spray that you added just told my brain "water". Yup. Small changes. Big impact. Thanks for posting.

Very nice it is very hard to paint and talk to a class at the same time I also liked the way you used your fingers to reach a shade and your critic at the finish of your art semper fi SKINTA❤😊😊😊😊😊

Thank you very much Larry, yes it is hard to keep track of your thoughts while teaching and painting, Lol!! Believe I try hard to work on it , but it’s hard regardless! I hope though that I’m getting my points across!

I’m so glad that I found your channel. I’ve enjoyed binge watching all of your beautiful paintings. Do you have any tips on how to keep my Liquitex heavy body paints from drying up and getting thick? I don’t paint every day, and sometimes I go a few months in between using my paints only to find them not usable.

@@GebahiArtworks I just watched the video but my paints are getting old and granny in the tubes before I put them on my pallet. Do you have any suggestions for that problem?
@GebahiArtworks Жыл бұрын
@@georgiagirl1118 if they are grainy, forget it, there’s no turning back! Buy a new tube. I have a couple like that and tried and it was a hassle, so I threw them away!

lovely painting!. but my golden acrylics dry within a few minutes of being out of tube! is it just the water spray mist that keeps them moist? im amazed
@GebahiArtworks Жыл бұрын
Yes, just the water spray! If you look at the previous video before this one, I show you how to keep your palette wet longer!!

Is there a white that is not opaque? It would be nice if there were a transparent white.
@GebahiArtworks7 ай бұрын
You can use Mixing white! You can find it online or at Michael’s. Winsor &Newton makes it, also other brands carry it too.

Could you please let us know what colors you are using? I think aliz crimson, burnt sienna and sienna, cer blue, ultramarine blue, titanium white, yellow ocre, yellow light? It would help to know each one by name for a beginner. Thank you forthis video.

Hi Renee, you got all the colors right except Cad yellow medium! I thought I had voiced them in the beginning, if not, I apologize. Thank you for watching!!
