I've been binge-watching all your 10-minute videos because of how simple and beautiful they turn out. However, I'm trying to make a fresh, ocean-themed room and a painting to go along with it. Do you think you can come up with something a bit more tropical? I would really like to have an easy project that has some bright blues and refreshing greens. Something lush, an ocean side rain forest perhaps? Thank you!!

Thanks Ryan👍😊 What would be the possibility of doing a 10 minute painting and incorporating a tutorial of how to use Tan colour/s and Not have the piece look flat and lifeless even if that's the colour it should be, I hope you made sense of what I'm trying to ask😏☺️

What size palette are your 10 minute paintings?

They range from 5x7 to 9x12. I wouldn't worry about the size though. Work with what you feel comfertable with

Why do some people blend with a dry brush, while others (like this video) blend with just the wet color at hand? Is there a difference for when it’s appropriate?

I do not use any additional primer or mediums. The goal is to make these lessons as easy and accessible as possible.

Barb Milton The boat didn't need reflection. There was no light to cast a shadow, since the boat was behind the mountains, rather than in view of the sun.
