I love watching you paint and how you explain what you're doing and the encouragement you give for those watching to try it. I've been painting with acrylics and am so wanting to try oils but I have a question...I know oils takes longer to dry then acrylics, could you share approximately how long it takes for your paintings to dry?...and how long to wait to varnish and the drying time on that too?

Hello Jane.. thank you for the kind comment.. my paintings will normally dry in about 3 days if the paint is not too thick...but surely 4 days to 1 week.. i will then leave it for another week before varnishing..

Good evening Stephen, about a year or so ago you did a tutorial of a small waterfall with mist in the background and also at the base of the waterfall. I wanted to try a do that painting but when I have looked back at some of your work I can't find it. If you remember that tutorial could you do it again sometime? I love your work and would someday like to be able to be even half as good as you.

kzbin.info/www/bejne/f5qcp62ae7qYp80 and i failed here ;) . I tried two times (two paintings at the same time) but even before blending i couldn't achieve that effect. It used for the first time Fluix from Renesans, its something like Liquin (thats what i heard) but it didnt help me much. Painting over canvas was probably little easier, but thats all.
