So nice to watch this. I have learned so much from you Roos Schuring. I will be painting this weekend on Lake Michigan for a plein air event. Your advice about making the sky darker than it might seem to be is so..so important and has helped me so much. Can't thank you enough...you are...still..THE ONE ARTISTS I have learned THE MOST from in all the different classes I have taken. You amaze me with how much you get done, still don't know how you do it all. Thanks again.

Roos, I really liked that one of your first comments was that you were tired. I also get tired by the evening, and it’s inspiring that you push through that and get on with painting. Your curiosity and determination to challenge yourself, and to always work on practicing and growing, I love it! It can be easy to imagine that artists at your level don’t struggle so much, and I like your honesty in showing how it really is, that at any level it can still feel tough! I also now put my paintings away instead of leaving them somewhere I can see them, and move on to the next one, tomorrow is another day, something else I learned from you.

@@PaintingVideos I read about two men who learned to 'face read'. They discovered that a smile works backward as well as forward. I try to always wear a smile because it truly does make me feel better. And it's also surprising how people that pass by notice it! (and my face needs it too!)
