I just came upon your channel. Your work is excellent! As an eleven-year-old, I got to climb onto the lunar module simulator used to train the Apollo astronauts, when living at Langley Air Force Base (where a NASA research center is, I believe, still located). In 1986, it was my privilege to be commissioned by NASA to create certificates for the ill-fated Journalist in Space Project candidates (which included the late Walter Cronkite and author Tom Wolfe, among others. I'm honored to have had my artwork hanging on their walls, as a consequence of the commission). I lettered each certificate by hand. The certificates were provided when the Journalist in Space search was cancelled after the Space Shuttle Challenger exploded with the first teacher in space (Christa McAuliffe) aboard. I very much like your NASA-related artwork, I can vividly remember the evening Commander Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin made those first istoric steps onto the moon. Today, now retired, I too work in pastels and (though limited in the size of pieces I can create on an easel because of neurological deficit) sometimes in oils and acrylics. I'm sorry to learn of your computer crash. The same thing happened to me about five years ago, and it was only then that I learned that data which was supposed to have been stored online by Apple had, in fact, also disappeared. As as a consequence, I lost nearly the entire text of a book I was writing at the time. I'm careful to back-up to numerous devices as well as online now. I look forward to seeing your future videos!

Hi Greg thank you very much for your message. It's nice to have somebody appreciate the Space art, and especially somebody like yourself. Thank you for your interesting story. I have learned my lesson regarding the loss of data last year, and now have back ups of the back ups!

In the tiger painting....maybe the background could have been blurred to enhance the tiger? Also...How about more highlights on the tiger upper part compared to its lower half as light is from above

Thousands of such considerations pass through my mind as I compose a painting and if I were not entirely happy with the way the tiger turned out, it would not be finished.

I take my own photographs from the places I visit. Sadly not the moon, that comes from NASA.
