Lucas not only did a bang up job; the limited palette as well as color choice and selective highlighting makes it look really good in such a short amount of time. Really great job that is really an accomplishment that nobody can take from him. I tried to do a start collecting box a while back when GW had that 3 part painting challenge. Wish I could turn in a result like he did. Truly inspirational, thank you for sharing. Everybody making the Harry Potter jokes about Lucas knows that what he did here was truly magical.

This is cheating. The prep time should also be counted, from second you opened the box, trimmed, assembled, glued, and primed the minis, then added the paint time. We will have to assume this took 12-16 hours then, as all assembly usually is half the time spent.
@SquidmarMiniatures5 жыл бұрын

Hands down. This is insane. The amount of organization and discipline and precision and speed... Not to mention the strain on his back and the ability to focus for that period of time. This is not normal hobby painting. And it takes a very special kind of painter to pull that off.

Best way I’ve found to get moving was escalation leagues. Good encouragement and starting out small you can literally burn through the painting pile in a short space of time. Also helps you improve a lot as it’s something you are doing consistently.
