JanHendrik, thanks to your videos, I purchased the Rembrandt brand KINGs Blue. It is an amazingly versatile blue. I already knew how well it suits skies, and I love the muted grey greens it produces. Thanks for sharing your talent.

I agree, Michael, King's Blue is a versatile color. Have you tried mixing it with Magenta? The result is a beautiful soft purple.

@@PaintingSkies1 YES!!! When I purchased the Kings Blue, I added my first magenta, Quinacridone Magenta, by Gamblin. My third addition was Old Hollands Scheveningen Blue, which I think will replace Phtalo Blue since it seems less "punchy." I so appreciate you and your channel.

That is indeed a great mix, Kings Blue and Scheveningen Blue. It's the starting point for most of my skies. And by the way, how about Kings Blue and Yellow Ochre?
