If it's going to be more close-up in the photo, then yes, I ask permission. If the figures will be part of more of a bigger landscape, and the figures aren't the main focus, then no.

This teaching is not exemplary of your best work, which I love and appreciate. Why do I say that? Because you are going overboard in elimination of the landscape elements which convey an actual setting to the point of it becoming a mere portrait, (thus an outright misleading video title). If you want to reach how to transition a photo into a potrait, then this would be it. Simplification doesn't require complete blocking out of the setting - which unfortunately kills the story.

Thanks for your comment. There is a variety in this teaching. The last two include more of the background landscape, than the first couple. I try to be a little broader in these teachings so I can include those who would like to see the variety of more focused in the landscape and also those images that include the larger landscape.
