This would be Kratos years after ascending the Asgardian Throne. I'm assuming the spear in his hand is Odin's Draupnir. The armor he's wearing looks to be a mixture of both Norse and Spartan, signifying the connection between his past and present. The ponytail tells me that Kratos has become a lot more open-minded and a lot less cynical.

Fun fact: M. Bison isn't actually that character's original name. That was initially the boxer character's name as a reference to Mike Tyson, but Capcom didn't think that reference would fly in the west, so they swapped 3 characters names around during localization: M. Bison, Balrog, and Vega. The boxer Mike Bison was changed to Balrog, the claw user Balrog was changed to Vega, and the evil general Vega was changed to M. Bison. This change has persisted throughout the series's localization as well, so in Japan, his name is actually still Vega.

I would love to see this character series continue but with characters that you don’t know! Or at least not overly popular characters. Or like a character mash up series but instead of you using a wheel to give you a character and style it’s your team mashing up two character descriptions. I can't stress enough how awesome the one two punch style of drawing with Jazza and Alicia is! Personally I remember when I used to draw a lot, I would become a little blind to my own design because I am too familiar with it. Giving it to someone else with fresh eyes and fresh ideas can clearly push it so much farther!

6:51 It's super cool to get a good view of all the details in the finished painting. I only wish that the final shot gave us a fully zoomed out view so that I could see how all the different shadows and highlights worked together on the finished piece. We can almost see everything here, but the hand and belt at the bottom are cropped out. I love seeing how an artist can take a great character design and push it to the next level by adding detail and texture to all of the different materials. I love the collaboration in this video.

Since this video game one seems a bit easier, if you do it again, I think it might be cool to implement some sort of way to have to *earn* the information (could even be through a game somehow to stick with the theme?) This is certainly still a very fun episode but it is a lot clearer seeing as there's not much to interpret. Maybe even a random number generator to determine how many segments of info you can have per piece, up to like 5 or 6? Idk, just something I thought of.

It's only easy because they chose the most mainstream video game characters that non-gamers would most likely know. It would be cool if they chose characters like Dante (Devil May Cry), 2B (Nier Automata), Wolf/Sekiro (Sekiro), Cereza (Bayonetta), etc.

These videos are awesome. I was such a fan that i did order the art set you sell, and it came in already. If you ever need to look for ideas for things to draw from description, try having your team generate a world in dwarf fortress - the game makes random creatures/dwarves/clothing designs etc as part of the random world generation

I'd love to see you do a collab with someone who literally wouldn't know who the characters are even if you revealed them at the end and they draw the framework and then you shine them up because there's no way you didn't know who every character was when you started drawing them :)
