I did my kitchen cabinets by myself for the first time after watching many youtube videos. My experience was great but it was a lot of work. After doing my kitchen cabinets paint a dresser or just about anything is a joke.

If you look or feel under the drawer (could be near centre OR off to side) there is a plastic piece that prevents the drawer from opening. You need to press (usually press down) the piece to allow the drawer to open.

I tried everything lol. I know there is away but I didn't want to break the drawers. 😂 Thanks for the tip though I will try next time if I have issues.

I did the planking without a nail gun since I figured there wouldn't be much horizontal force being applied (as opposed to vertical). It's been a few years and they are still holding pretty tight! :)

I just found your channel and am enjoying it so much. Just a small tip. When you are going to stain raw wood a staining primer makes a huge difference. I was trying several coats of stain to try to get a more consistent coverage. A friend of mine who is a professional cabinet maker suggested a stain primer and WOW! Even the end grain comes out smoother. Love your videos. You’re keeping me up at night trying to catch up.

You should consider having it stained. My personal preference is not to paint real wood. Everyone is different.
