Please have a class by Judd... he is one of my favorite gouache artists. I like that he works with gouache in a more impressionistic manner, resembling oil paints.

Lovely demonstration it would be helpful and nice if you tagged the artist channel. I just find that helpful to your audience and supportive to the artist. By not doing so it looks like a selfish promotion to your own page.

I've recently bought gouache but haven't yet tried using it. Could you explain if you let an area mostly dry before adding more paint over it? Also, can the paint flake off and is there a fixative to seal the painting? Thanks for this terrific tutorial.

The demo is fantastic! But the description of the varnishing process is totally confusing. What do you spray 10 to 12 times ??! It would have been great to get a clear step by step explanation....

@@CulturedGemI can’t tell you for sure since I don’t work in gouache but I found this: Golden Isolation Coat is a permanent, non-removable layer that physically separates acrylic paintings from varnish. Apply it between the painted surface and varnish - it ensures an even coat of varnish, and it protects the paint if you choose to remove the varnish.
