A couple of questions from a beginner painter. Does it matter what filament color you start out with? Wouldn't it be easier with a lighter color? And a second question, if not the filament, what about a primer coat? I assume you're using acrylic paint. Would you use gesso? Great videos, thanks for your work.
@ItsMeaDMaDe Жыл бұрын
So I would check out my playlists. I have a full series where I walk you through how I painted thing from fantastic four. This model was printed in resin not fdm. But you can do fdm. To answer your questions no filament color doesn’t matter. I use a primer to cover it up. Gesso could work.

amazing paint job! the ONLY suggestion would be to maybe do a lighter highlight on the bandanna. it could be my eyes, but the thumbnail looks purple and I thought it was Donnie.

Thanks. The dark royal was a personal preference. I do see your point. If I end up doing Donnie he will be a lot brighter purple so there will be a big difference.
