Scaling both pieces reduces the size of both - which doesn’t solve the problem. You need to scale down just the peg, or the hole up. In other words, increase tolerance….

Why not export them as one object when you have to paint them in the slicer anyway? Cool guide though, in general. I don't even have any multicolor printers, but it was still neat to learn. Edit: commented just a bit too early I guess, though it seems like the same amount of work either way, TBH.

Great video. Just curious, why did you choose to print in FDM when you had the option to print resin? Don't resin print always turn out better and reduce a ton of post processing work?

I used cut, resize split into object and split into parts in one project. I had to make something longer, so I cut, resize and split into parts to do it :D

Apparently Cura 5.9.0 has deleted the "Smart Hiding" configuration or the "Seam Corner Preference" section of the Wall menu because I cannot find it anywhere, even when I do a search.

Hi! I'm struggling with something: I printed something very big, like the entire plate and after I finished I noticed that on the corners it was bending. I used brim, but this time it bended the entire plate. What can I do against it?

horrible video. you didnt show the slice settings and really confused the names of them.

What are the variables that would determine what samples you would test for the same type of filament; e.g. speed, layer height, etc? Or, does it matter?

Im a beginner so Hopefully, this isn't a dumb question, but in the past I've only had children's airbrush systems and am trying a real portable one for the first time. What I'd like to know is, is this the kind of thing you need to be in a well-ventilated area to use? The one I have is recommended for makeup, nail art, and model art ext. I'll be using it for art projects and most likely useing the Distilled water as my thinner. So will I be able to use this indoors?

You know there is a "arrange feature" in Bambu Studio. Right click on the plate or click the arrange button on the right of the plate. ;-) Arrange the ducks in one click instead of dragging them around.

Excellent video. I was disappointed to hear that you are not buying my filament. 😉 I would like a video showing how an existing model can be deconstructed into parts for more efficient printing. Your panda for example: remove the eyes and print them white. Then glue (or snap) the parts in place. I've printed a number of Expanse spaceships from a creator that largely separates his models by color. There is minimal filament swapping and less waste.

@itsmeadmade sorry, but at the first towers test, what MM should you have your retraction distance at? I see you kept yours at 6.5, shouldnt that be set to standard 1mm to start? Or am I missing something?

tree has been really good for me since i got my a1. i saw a cool trick in a video where you use a different type of plastic for the interface layer to get really clean breaks.

Again, Love the series! There is a slight error in some of your descriptions, I hope you don't mind me pointing it out!?!? When "x" is given the power of 2, it is know as 'squared.' The naming of this 'squared' is not an accident, it is actual a SQUARE; i.e. a 2D object (e.g. L x W). The power of 3 is a cubic (cubed) object, a 3D object (e.g. L x W x H). There are times in the video you reference squared, but you describe cubed; e.g. Minimum Infill Area. Sorry for being pedantic.

You don't need to unplug the printer. The rocker switch on the back already physically breaks the circuit

You could do the normal flow tower, then a custom one with more granularity in the range that is "good" and repeat until you reach a granularity you like.

Great Tutorials! I've going through the entire playlist! Question? When pealing away Brims, is it better when the print is still warm or should you wait until it cools? Any tools or process that could make the process easier? Thanks in advance!

Very nice, dude! I was having trouble with creating a tiny mask for shizz and gigs just to see what happens (I am a beginner). I tried once, twice and at the third try I decided to look up what I was doing wrong. Luckily, I stumbled across your video, and it so happens to be that all I needed was that not so stupid glue I thought of at first. With that said, my fourth print was excellent thanks to you mentioning to add it. Thank you so much for taking the time to make this video it definitely helped me. Cheers and best of luck. I am definitely going to keep watching if I need to solve an issue.

really great information presented well, thanks. As a beginner, knew none of these things, so it was very helpful. Suggestion, dark blue image on black build plate image is hard to see the details of the object, maybe a lighter colour to help us oldies.
